Michael “Mike” Ray Inman

Obituary
Condolences

Michael “Mike” Ray Inman, born June 2, 1961, to the late Everett Inman and Magdalene Inman (née Taulbee), passed away on November 17, 2025.

Mike was a man who lived with his whole heart. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Vicky Asher, and is survived by the people he loved most in this world: his daughters, Stephanie Inman (John Tackett) and Tara Horton (Andrew); his son, Michael Inman (Raven); and their mother, Carla Inman, his sister, Charlotte Salas (Braulio); his brother, Everett Inman (Shirley); and his treasured grandchildren — Kaycee, Wesley, Rowan, Collins, Wren, Lincoln, Kellan, Wylder (“June”), and Sullivan.

Mike had a true collector’s spirit. Coins, knives, antiques — if it carried a bit of history or character, it caught his eye. But more than anything, he collected memories. He was all about family, and his laugh — loud, contagious, and unmistakably his — could fill a room and lighten even the heaviest day.

Mike was a hardworking man who found joy in working with his hands.  Always the first to step in when something needed doing, he was known for his skill and reliability. Woodworking was one of his greatest passions. He also had a deep love for animals, especially the rescue dogs he welcomed into his life and cared for as family.

Mike leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and a deep devotion to the people he cared for. His presence will be missed dearly, but the warmth he brought into the world will live through his family, his stories, and the many things he built with his hands and his heart.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger, Kentucky from 1:00 PM–3:00 PM with words of remembrance starting at 3:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation; any local animal shelter.

Angela and Corey Siddall

Angela and I offer our condolences to Mike’s family.
Mike’s obituary was masterfully written. One of the best we have ever read. It describes him perfectly.
Mike was a great guy, a good friend, and the best boss I ever had. He appreciated my work and my abilities and allowed me to grow in my job.
Our families did things together in the good old days.
We drifted apart, but thanks to Stephanie recognizing me at a chance encounter, Angela and I were able to spend time with Mike during 2025.
We are glad we had the opportunity.
Mike will be missed.
Angela and wish peace and good memories to Mike’s family and friends.
