ELSMERE – Melinda “Mindy” Ashley Thomas, 17, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Corryville.She was a student at Northern Kentucky University majoring in Education.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Thomas of Elsmere; father, Mike Thomas of Elsmere; brother, Michael Thomas of Union; sister, Mandy Thomas of Elsmere; and grandmother, Rose Thomas of Elsmere.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7, at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at St. Henry Church, Elsmere. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
