Maxine Jo Browne, 79, of Union, KY passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Florence. Maxine retired after 30 years as the Coordinator Interpreter for the Deaf at Northern KY Tech. She was a member of Union Baptist Church, KY Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, National and the KY Association of the Deaf and was one of Cincinnati’s Top Women of the Year in 1985. She is survived by her loving children, Tony (Jeanie) Browne of Union, KY, Thomas Dean (Linda Rose) Browne of Glencoe, KY, Cindora (Keith) Donohoo of Florence, KY and brother, Barry Pidcock of Springfield, IL. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Her son, James William Browne, preceded her in death. Visitation will be Friday, November 6, 2015 from 9am to 11am at Linnemann Family Funeral Homes, Erlanger with funeral service to follow at 11am at the Funeral Home. Burial and graveside services will be at Longview Cemetery in Bethel, KY at 3pm. Memorial contributions can be made to Boone Co. Animal Shelter.
