Mary Steffen

Mary Brune Steffen, 86, entered eternal life at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY on Thursday, October 1, 2015. Daughter of Florenz and Elizabeth Brune, Mary was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Parish and School. She enjoyed quilting, cross stitching and cooking. Mary was preceded in passing by her parents, her infant daughter Mary Jo Steffen and her sister Virginia Schwartz. Mary will be dearly missed by her husband of 65 years, Joseph E. Steffen of Ft. Mitchell, KY and their children: Jack (Linda) of Cincinnati, OH, Jay (Donna) of Ft. Mitchell, KY, Jeff (Diane) of Union, KY, and Jan (Gary) Hanser of Edgewood, KY; her sisters: Florence Baker and Margie Kemen of Florence, KY; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell, KY on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM with Mass to follow at 10:00 AM. Entombment at St. John Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY following Mass. Memorial donations may be made to St. Augustine Parish, 1839 Euclid Avenue, Covington, KY 41014 or Blessed Sacrament School, 2407 Dixie Hwy, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
