Mary Slaughter

Mary Kay Slaughter, 91, of Villa Hills, formerly of Ft. Wright, passed away on Tuesday, January 4th at Madonna Manor. Mrs. Slaughter was a longtime volunteer at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center flower shop, and a member of the Kentucky Kousins Square Dancers. Mary Kay had a love for decorating, found beauty in the arrangement of flowers, and had a smile for everyone she met. Mrs. Slaughter is survived by her daughter, Karen Christopfel (Dan) of Ft. Wright, and sons, Kevin Slaughter (Marilyn) of Edgewood, and Kurt Slaughter (Angela) of Ft. Wright. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Jessica, Lauren, Krista, Kevin, and Jayme, and one great grandchild, Xander. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Madonna Manor on Friday, January 7th at Noon. Burial will follow at Mother of God Cemetery.
