Mary Prues

VILLA HILLS – Mary Ruth Exeler Prues, 81, died Monday, Feb. 9, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Edgewood.

She was a clerk for the Internal Revenue Service, a volunteer for The Voice of Villa Hills newspaper, volunteer at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Edgewood, gift shop, member of the Happy Timers and St. Joseph Church, Crescent Springs.

Her husband, Bernard L. Prues, died in 1994.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Frommeyer of Florence; son, James E. Prues Sr., of Lawrenceville, Ga.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at St. Joseph Church, Crescent Springs. Entombment will be in St. Mary Mausoleum, Fort Mitchell.
