Mary Jule Gronefeld

Mary Jule Gronefeld, 74, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014 at St Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood KY. She was a graduate of the 1960 class of St. Elizabeth Nursing School and worked as a RN for 28 years, as well as a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. Mary Jule was preceded in death by her daughter Julia Steffen (2009) and sisters Joann Flannery (2000) and Patricia Bunner (2012). She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Paul e. Gronefeld and their children Paul Jeffery “Jeff”Gronefeld (Martha) of Crescent Springs, KY, Jennifer Lynn Gable (Ray) of Fredrick, MD, Jo Ellen Davis (Ray) of Elsmere, KY; son-in-law Dennis Steffen of Erlanger, KY; brother Bernard Schafstall (Pat) of Lexington, OK; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Memorial visitation will be held at St Henry Church in Elsmere, KY on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM with a Memorial Mass to follow at 6:30 PM and burial at St Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas at 10 AM on Monday, February 3, 2014.
