Mary Harriett Christman (nee Baker), 76, of Union, KY, died Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood, KY. She retired from work as a secretary with Federated Department Stores after 30+ years of faithful service. Harriett was a dedicated mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold “Jack” and Mary Sue Baker; and her daughter, Robin Stephenson (nee Christman).
Harriett is survived by her son, Robert (Shiva) Christman of Shrewsberry, MA; her daughter, Erin (Bruce) McVay of Union, KY; her brothers, Paul (Vickie) Baker of Georgia, Jim (Margith) Baker of Arizona, and Jeff (Patty) Baker of Florida; her son-in-law, Kirk Stephenson of Hebron, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
She also leaves behind loving grandchildren, Cameron Demler, Sydney Stephenson, Spencer Stephenson, Jack Christman, Kayla (Jacob) Day, and Kristi (Travis) Horton; and her 4 great-grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, services for Harriett will be private for family only.

I worked with Harriett for many years at Federated, and I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was kind and honest, and also hilarious. I loved hearing her tell stories… she brought so much love, laughter and light to our department. She will be missed by so many whose lives she touched.
