Martha Edwards

CRESTVIEW HILLS- Martha Edwards, 93, passed away Friday October 7, 2016 at St Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. She was a member of Summit Hills Country Club, St Pius X Church and was the longest living resident of Crestview Hills. Martha was a very caring and loving person. She loved to play cards and socialize with her friends. Her beloved husband of 65 years Robert J. Edwards and grandson Jeffery Vieth preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughters Lynn (Dennis) Vieth of Crestview Hills, Jan (Mark) Gehring of Edgewood, Sherry (Leonard) Vance of Louisville, son Rick (Jody) Edwards of Union, half-sisters Beth Ehlam of Tinley Park IL, Joan Tenefelde of Lexington, half-brothers Dick Hoppenjans of Sylvania OH and Don Hoppenjans of Wilmington, DE. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday October 15, 2016 from 9am to 11am with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St Pius X Church in Edgewood KY. Mausoleum entombment will be held at St Mary Cemetery in Ft Mitchell, KY.
