Margie Cannada

Marjorie “Margie” Cannada of Elsmere, KY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. Margie volunteered at St. Elizabeth Hospital, was a regular contributor to St. Jude’s and I Have Wings, and was an avid line dancer in the Hats and Boots line dancing club. She is survived by her daughters: Cindy (Joaquin) Valles, Stacy (Tony) Caludis and Kelley (Patrick) Allen; son, Jeff (Maria) Kircher; grandchildren: Amanda (Robert) Winter, Christina, Tony and Victor Caludis; great-grandchildren, Claire and Kate Winter; and siblings: Frank Serra, Shirley Mae Gonzales, Norma Jean Karnes and Sandy Zook. Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Cannada; parents, Charles and Mary Serra; and siblings: Charles, Harry and Eilene Serra and Mary Catherine Humphrees. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 10 AM-11AM with service to follow, both at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY. Entombment will be immediately following.
