Marge “Granny” Kirkpatrick, age 94, went to be with her son on October 19th at St. Elizabeth Hospice. Marge was a proud resident of Burlington, KY and a faithful member of Burlington Baptist Church. She was a waitress at the former local favorite Traders Restaurant for many years, and was adored by many customers for her charm and laughter. Her son, Donnie L. Kirkpatrick, preceded her in death and she was always so proud of his service to Burlington.   Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Judy Kirkpatrick of Burlington; 2 grandchildren, Traci Kirkpatrick of Burlington and Brad Kirkpatrick (Julie) of Taylor Mill; 2 great grandchildren, Lily and Logan; and many other extended family, friends and neighbors of whom she was a proud “Granny”. She will be deeply missed and mourned by all. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 23rd from 12pm-2pm at Linnemann Funeral Home and Event Center, Burlington. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm. Burial will be in Burlington Cemetery. The family wishes to extend thanks to all the nurses for the kind care she received at St. Elizabeth Florence, as well as the St. Elizabeth Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Burlington Fire Department Boosters or Burlington Baptist Church. Granny, you were loved by all and your family and friends will miss your sweet smile.
