Margaret Marie Maurer

Margaret Marie Maurer (nee: Beil), 80, of Burlington, KY passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY. Margaret was born March 18, 1938 in Point Pleasant, KY to the late John and Marie Beil. Margaret was affiliated with the Boone County Extension Homemakers, she taught 4H Sewing, was a former Girl Scout Leader, an advisor to a Co-ed Explorer Post, a former Sunday School teacher at East Bend Baptist, and a member of the Belleview Baptist Church. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and her survivors include: husband, Bob Maurer, children: John Maurer (Karen), and Betsy Weissmann (Jay), grandchildren: Doug Weissmann (Mandy), and Marie Weissmann-Nolting (Drew), great grandchildren: Colten Faine, Ashton Weissmann, and Pierce Nolting. A memorial visitation will be held for Margaret on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 10am until 12pm at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. A memorial service will be held following the visitation at 12pm at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Belleview Baptist Church at 6658 5th St, Burlington, KY 41005.
