Louis Lucas

Louis Wendell Lucas II, 68, of Erlanger, passed away on Sunday October 5th, 2014 at Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood. He was a Glazier for UNION 387 for over 35 years, a graduate of Lloyd High School in 1964, a member of the Erlanger Lions Club, and most importantly and avid UK and Bengals fan. He was preceded in death by his parents Wendell and Evelyn Lucas; his parent-in-laws, Earl and Edith Lenhoff; and his wife, Darleen Lucas. He is survived by his loving companion of 20 years, Nancy Ferguson of Ft. Wright; his daughter, Shannon Lucas (Steven) Tanner of Florence; his son, Louis Wendell “Trey” (Theresa) Lucas III of Covington; his sisters, Jane Ann Carter of Florence, Jean (Don) Meredith of Cincinnati, Jill (Bill) Rocke of Lexington, and Janet (Steve) Brinkman of Florence. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Lucas and Emma Tanner, and Louis, Darleen, Olivia, and Miriam Lucas, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday October 10th, 2014 from 10AM-1PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. A service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 1PM.
