Loretta Ann Kordenbrock, 93, of Covington, passed away on Sunday August 3rd, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. She was a homemaker, member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Florence, a member of the St. Paul Altar Society, a 4-H leader, and she volunteered at the Pike St. Clinic in Covington. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bernard Kordenbrock; her brother, Joseph Bilz; and her sisters, Teresa and Dorothy Bilz. She is survived by her daughters, Sr. Nancy Kordenbrock OSB of Villa Hills, and Barbara (Robert) Blackwell of Florence; her sons, Robert (Mary Anne) Kordenbrock of Verona, and Dr. Ben (Dr. Yvonne) Kordenbrock of Florence; and her sister, Sr. Rita Bilz OSB of Villa Hills. She also leaves behind her 5 grandchildren: Todd (Pam), Scott, Tony, Julia, and Joe; one step-granddaughter, Michelle (Dave) Rich; one step-grandson, Alexander Hoffman; one great-granddaughter, Ava; and two step great-granddaughters, Lexie and Cammey Rich. Visitation will be on Friday August 8th, 2014 from 5PM-8PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday August 9th, 2014 at 10AM at St. Paul Catholic Church in Florence. Burial at Mother of God Cemetery in Latonia.
