Leroy “Roy” Hegge

Leroy “Roy” William Hegge, age 68 died Thursday August 7, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy G. and Bernadette “ Betty” Thaman Hegge. He was a retired plant services manager for Keco Industries. Roy was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also very much enjoyed woodworking. He and his wife Dallas Lynn (Locknane) were married for 45 years.
Survivors include his wife Dallas Hegge of Erlanger, KY; a son Roy Scott Hegge of Florence, KY and a daughter R. Renee (Mark) Kearns of Sanders, KY. Roy was the grandfather of Tara Hegge, Alysse, Alex, Adrienne and Andrew Kearns. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters; Mark (Myra) Hegge , John (Judy) Hegge, Karen ( Keith) Alsip and Betty Ann (Steve) Brandner. A graveside committal service will be held August 11,2014 in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Chapel in Erlanger at 11:00a.m. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home 75 Orphanage Rd, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
