SALZMAN, Leo Edward, 94, of Ft. Mitchell, KY, died on August 28, 2024. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed.

Leo is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Patricia Salzman; his daughters Denise Huffer (Mark), Catherine Przybylowicz (Thomas), and Ilene Gibson (George); his sons Gregory Salzman (Barbara), John Salzman, and Matthew Salzman (Kirstin); and his sister, Therese Hamm. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.

A proud Corporal in the United States Army, Leo served with honor during the Korean War. His dedication to service continued throughout his life as he actively participated in the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church in Ft. Mitchell, KY, and was involved with the Familia Program of the Diocese of Covington, KY, as well as parish Bible studies. Leo was the owner of an executive placement agency and a member of the Rotary Club in Norwich, NY and Knights of Columbus in Norwich, NY, and Columbus, OH, and contributed his expertise to SCORE in Cincinnati, OH.

Leo was known for his great sense of humor, adventurous spirit, and love for travel. He had a notable sweet tooth and was a passionate supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes. His family and friends will remember him for his joyful demeanor and the warmth he brought into their lives.

Visitation will be held on September 1, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Linnemann Funeral Home, 30 Commonwealth Ave., Erlanger, KY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on September 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 2409 Dixie Hwy, Ft. Mitchell, KY. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 2201 Dixie Hwy, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
