Leavern Poole

Leavern Poole, age 66 went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 31, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. She was a homemaker and a member of 7Hills Church. Leavern resided in Florence, KY. Survivors include her husband Douglas Poole of Florence; a daughter Terrie Applewhite of Gladstone, MO; a son Ray Poole of Missouri; 2 sisters Ailene Muncy of Erie, KS and Wanda McWhirt of Ward, AR. Leavern was the grandma of 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday evening 6-8pm at Linnemann Family Funeral Home, Burlington. Burial will be in Alva Memorial Cemetery in Alva, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: “Feed the Children” P.O. Box 36 Oklahoma City, OK 73101-0036.
