Larry Nelson

Larry Joe Nelson, 59, of Union, KY, passed away on Saturday April 11, 2015, at his residence. During his life, Larry worked in Grocery Merchandising for Kroger for 31 years. 15 of those years in Louisville and 16 years in Cincinnati. He is a member and Elder at Lakeside Christian Church and a board member of Master Provisions. Larry was a follower of Christ, a dedicated family man, an avid golfer, and loved to go on mission trips with his wife Cindy. He was preceded in death by his: parents Rosie and Paul Grube, father Jack Nelson, and brother James Nelson. Larry is survived by his: wife Cindy Nelson of Union, KY, daughter Katie Nelson of Union, KY, son William Kenneth Potter (Jami) of Mt. Juliet, TN, son Ryan Michael Potter (Traci) of Walton, KY, grandchildren Reagan Potter, Nelson Potter, and Landon Potter, brothers John Nelson (Jennifer) of Georgetown, IN, Jay Nelson (Bobbi) of Georgetown, IN, and Jeff Grube (Rachel) of Georgetown, IN, sisters Jana Sue Lee (Rick) of Georgetown, IN, and Lou Ann Gentry of Greenville, IN, and sister-in-laws Susan Nelson and Patty Nicholson-Nelson. A visitation will be held on Tuesday April 14, 2015 4pm until 8pm at Lakeside Christian Church Hebron Campus. A second visitation will be held on Wednesday April 15, 2015 10am until 12 noon with the service immediately following the visitation and beginning at noon at Lakeside Christian Church Hebron Campus. Interment will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Borden, IN on Thursday April 16, 2015 at 12 noon. Memorial Contributions can be sent to Master Provisions 7725 Foundation Dr. Florence, KY 41042.
