Kenneth Abdon

Kenneth “Ken” Lawrence Abdon, 69, entered into eternal life at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in Petersburg, KY. Ken, son of Milburn and Ollie Mae Abdon, was a Marine Corps Veteran, retired from Ferrellgas, where he worked as a driver for 30 years, and was the caretaker of the Bullitsburg Baptist Camp for 14 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lydia Thomas. Family meant everything to Ken. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, of 38 years, April Abdon (nee Estes) of Petersburg, KY; their children: Chastity (Tony) Howell of Crittenden, KY, Daniel (Juli) Abdon of Ft. Thomas, KY, and Noah Abdon of Petersburg, KY; brother Ron Abdon of Petersburg, KY; grandchildren Patrick, Cory, Connor, Natalie, and Ashlyn; 4 great-grandchildren as well as many family members and friends. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 3 PM to 5 PM at Linnemann Family Funeral Home and Event Center in Burlington, KY with service to follow at 5 PM.
