Ken Kallmeyer
Kenneth “Ken” Kallmeyer, 71, died Saturday October 6, 2012 at home in Villa Hills. He was founder and owner of Ken’s Crescent Springs Service. He was a lifetime member and retired fire chief for the Crescent Springs/Villa Hills Fire Department, member of Towing and Recovery Association in Kentucky and Ohio, Founder and Former President of Promenade Palace in Latonia, member of Northern Kentucky Square Dancers Federation, Member of Callerlab Association of Square Dance Callers, member of American Truck Historical Society International, member of the Lions Club, and a Kentucky Colonel.
He was predeceased by his wife Jan in 1992 and brother Leonard (Jenny) in 2001.
Survivors include sons Kenny (Mechelle) Kallmeyer of Independence, Kevin (Jamie) of Crescent Springs, daughters Elaine (Eddie) Kallmeyer-Oestreicher of Union, Kerri (Doug) Hopkins of Erlanger, Linda (David) Steinfort of Florence, brothers Keith (Judy) Kallmeyer of Villa Hills, Bobby (Mary Jo) Kallmeyer of Florence, sisters Katherine Kallmeyer of Independence, Karen Kallmeyer of Florence, Linda (Donald) Parker of Ryland Heights, and 18 grandchildren and 17 great –grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, October 12 from 4-8pm at Linnemann Family Funeral Homes, 30 Commonwealth Avenue, Erlanger, Ky. 41018. Funeral Service will be 10am, Saturday October 13, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 2474 Lorraine Court, Crescent Springs, Ky 41017. Burial at St. Mary Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Ky.
