Kathryn “Katie” Nicholas

Kathryn “Katie” Ann (Barnett) Nicholas passed away peacefully in her sleep at 12:20 AM on July 10, 2022 at the Good Samaritan hospital in Cincinnati, OH from results of a stroke. She was born on April 26, 1936 in Cleburne, TX. Proceeded in death by her parents, Smith Barnett and Laura Eula Elizabeth Featherstone, a sister Ruby Helen Barnett, two brothers, Larry Barnett, and William “Billy” Barnett, her husband S.L. “Butch” Nicholas, two daughters, Janet Lynn Nicholas, and Laura Kaye Lilley Gray.

She is survived by her sister Mary Lou Barnett Ledford, 3 sons Steven Lilley and wife Nancy, Dennis Lilley and wife Lola, Scott Lilley, 4 grandsons, and 4 granddaughters, 7 great grandsons, and 3 great granddaughters, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was a woman of great faith, loved children, baking, and cooking with her family at the holidays.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Charity of Donor’s Choice.
