Karen Stephenson

Karen Stephenson age 63, of Burlington, passed away on September 14, 2025.

Karen was born on August 24, 1962, in Elmira, New York, to the late Gary and Clara Stephenson. She dedicated her career to caring for others as a registered nurse at Harmony Court in Cincinnati. Karen was a devoted sister, friend, and stepmom, always willing to give the shirt off her back to help others. She loved attending festivals, especially Renaissance fairs, the Taste of Cincinnati, and Riverboat events. She also enjoyed cooking, particularly baking pies, cookies and cakes, and had a passion for trying new foods. And loved her fur babies.

She is survived by her siblings, Roy (Claire) Stephenson and Kay Roupp; stepdaughters, Shonda Manoogian and Andrea Manoogian; nieces and nephew, Alfred (Kelsey) Stephenson, Erin (Jeremy) Stephenson; and great-nieces and nephews, Fenyx, Lily Rose. Step-grandchildren Serefine, Brady, Imogen, and Elijah. She is also remembered with love by many close friends and co-workers, Isaac, Julie Shaul Caniff, Mark Caniff and Truman Adams. Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Manoogian, and her nephew, Ryan Stephenson.

Services will be held privately by the family.
