Karen Lisa Walter

Karen Lisa Walter, 64, of Burlington, KY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at her home in Burlington. Karen was born August 28, 1959 in Pikeville, KY. She proudly served her country as a member of the U.S. Navy. During her time in the Navy, Karen worked as a graphic designer.

She was a creative type, and she was very artistic. She enjoyed doing all types of art and crafts. She was also a collector and she enjoyed going to yard sales. Karen also enjoyed gardening and she could find beauty in everything. She was very loving and caring, and she had a special place in her heart for cats. Karen was a proud cat mom.

Her late mother, Laura Walter preceded her in death. Karen is survived by her loving father: John F. Walter (Paula), her beloved brothers: John Walter and Mike Walter, and several loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held for Karen on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. A memorial service will be held immediately following at 2:00pm at the Funeral Home. Karen’s ashes will be laid to rest in private at the convenience of her family.
