Thank you for sharing Julia with the rest of us!
I never personally knew Julia, but we are members of St. Barbara and were graced with Julia’s gifted voice and musical ministry. Our hearts are saddened for your loss and all of our loss of this beautiful Christian woman who so freely shared her God-given gifts. There is now another voice in Heaven’s Chorus and we must rejoice in our memories until we meet Julia again.
God Bless You all!
Ron
So sorry for your loss
Dear Paul and Family.
My remembrances of Julia stretch back to her many years at St Elizabeth. She was a joy to work with because of her warm smile and her helpful nature. One special memory as people have commented on her beautiful voice was her singing at her Mom’s(Sally) funeral. It was a special moment for her lovely Mom.
Julia, My Dear Road Trip Friend
Dear Paul and Family,
I was so heart broken to learn about Julia, and I am so sorry for your loss. Julia was an amazing woman, wife, Mom and an awesome friend. Even though we had only known each other since 2007, I felt as if we had been friends forever. There are so many great memories of Silverlake, our get togethers with KY friends and our several road trips out west. Julia’s enthusiastic and positive outlook on life was very contagious and so enjoyable to experience. I was very blessed to have had Julia as my dear friend. Unfortunately, because I am in Montana, I will not be able to join you all at Julia’s service on Saturday, but please know that I will be there in spirit. Love to you all, Sharon Linstid and “puppy” Montana (Miss Frosty, too)!
Gone too soon!
We were so surprised and sad to hear about Julia’s death. She was always a bright light whenever we met her. Funny, smiling and full of life, that is how we will remember her. We always enjoyed hearing her beautiful voice when she sang at funeral masses. Our deepest sympathy to the family on their loss of sweet Julia. Marsha and Guy Linnemann
With sincere condolences
Paul and the entire Meier family:
The community has lost not only a wonderful person but an angelic voice that now, I’m sure, is already created harmonies with the angels. Among her many gifts were her big laughter and her wonderful talent for making amazing sounds with her full voice. Some of my happiest moments were sharing the stage with her as a duet or part of a group. And I know she soothed many souls when she sang with her friends at church. She had a great gift and she was not afraid to share it and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to be part of that sharing. God welcome you home, Julia
I’m so sorry
I am so sorry. I remember you do well coming to the store with your beautiful children and husband. I enjoyed our conversations and fix tote breakfast pizza every year for Christmas since you have to me! It has been many years since I’ve seen you, but know you will be missed. I think of you all several times a year.
Sincere Condolences
Paul and Family: It’s with deepest Sympathy that I write to express my and Joyce’s sincere condolences for the loss of Julia. I’ll always remember her smile and laugh when we were together at meetings with the KLC or MGLNK. I’m so sorry for her loss and have she, and your family in my prayers. I apologize that I cannot be at the Mass on Saturday. I chair our annual Memorial Mass for the classmates from my high school class. That Mass is at 9am on Saturday Morning at Newport Catholic. I will place Julia as one of my intentions for that Mass. I hope to see you soon…With Deepest Sympathy, Jim Hamberg
“Julia” A Personality Bigger than Life!
Julia has been a close friend of ours for 45 years. Ever since she and her mother walked into one of our music group practice sessions when her mother asked if her daughter could possibly try out for our group. She played and sang and immediately we knew she was an outstanding musician and singer. She played with our group “Spirit Winds” at Saint Barbara’s and we played many weddings, festivals, and other benefits throughout the area. We have many good memories from trips we took with Julia and Paul. Julia and Cathy had a close musical relationship and a love of learning new songs for Mass. The loss of Julia leaves a very big void in our lives. We loved her! Our Sincere Condolences to Paul and their family. Neal & Cathy Raker.
