Juanita Teipel

Juanita Teipel, 90, of Ft. Wright, KY passed away Monday, September 30, 2013. Juanita was the Salutatorian of her Holmes High School graduating class and a 1945 graduate of Eastern KY State Teachers College (now known as EKU). She taught at Ludlow Elementary School for two years, then was a busy substitute teacher until 1974. Mrs. Teipel was a lifelong member of Immanuel United Methodist Church. Juanita is survived by her sons, Mark and Bruce Teipel; daughter, Karen Teipel Waters (Russell Hill); grandchildren, Melisa Teipel (Mike Grover), Eve Teipel (Josh Engelman), Steve Teipel, Greg (Ashley) Teipel and Sharon Teipel; and great-grandchildren, Mia, Maddox, Peyton, Grant and Leo. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leo Teipel, as well as parents, LeRoy and Beatrice “Sis” Clinkinbeard.
