Joyce Scudder

Joyce Ann Scudder (nee Brigmon), 76, cherished wife of Edwin F. Scudder for 46 years, passed away September 10th, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Florence. She was a resident of Villa Springs and former resident of Ludlow, Ky where she and her husband operated “Joyceramics”. Joyce was preceded in death by her son William J. Gentry and grandson Benjamin Moore. She is survived by her loving sister, Vera Brigmon Burger and her children, Bonnie Gentry, Nancy Moore, Thomas Gentry, Tammy Russell and Edwin F. Scudder Jr. Joyce also is survived by her step-children, Theresa Summers, Linda Scudder, David Scudder, Anthony Scudder, Gary Scudder, Regina Mansour and Brian Scudder. She was a loving and kind grandmother to 38 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Joyce was a homemaker, a wonderful cook and had a very green thumb with her garden. A visitation will take place on Friday September 16th from 9:30-12:30pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes Erlanger. A short service will follow at 12:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place following the service at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, KY. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society 297 Buttermilk Pike Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017.
