Joseph Seavers

Joseph Seavers, 76 of Villa Hills, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. He was born in Norton, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Jenkins Seavers, and loving uncle and aunt, John and Virgie Jenkins. Survivors include his wife, Loretta B. Seavers, loving niece, cousins, in-laws and friends. He was a retired educator, being a teacher, coach, or principal at the following Kentucky Schools: Lloyd High School, Ludlow Elementary, Lawrence County High School, Fallsburg Elementary and Bracken County High School. He substituted in Cincinnati Public Schools. He received a B.S. degree from Pikeville College, a Masters degree from Xavier University, and attended Eastern Kentucky University for further education. He enjoyed refereeing high school football and basketball as well as girl’s college basketball. Rev. John Bowling performed graveside services July 18, 2014 at Forest Lawn Park, Erlanger, Kentucky.
