Joseph “Joe” Hamilton

Joseph Hamilton of Erlanger, passed away at the age of 72 on December 13th. Joe was born in 1946 to Earl and Joyce Hamilton. A Vietnam Veteran, Joe served his country in the Army branch of the military from 1965-1968. During his time he accumulated many accolades and honors. He worked as a long distance equipment driver, retiring 10 years ago. During his retirement he enjoyed tending to his “magic garden”. Joe was a devoted husband to his wife of 30 years, Linda, and took on the roles of step-father and uncle with passion. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Randal Hamilton, Robert Meece and Al Meece. Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Hamilton; step-daughter, Melissa Kennedy; brother, David (Sandy) Hamilton; sisters, Earlene (Ron) Young and Margarette West; mother-in-law, Doris Hewling; sister-in-law’s, Lisa (Marty) Connor, Kelly (Tim) Mounce, Karen Pritt, Rose Meese and Tina Hamilton, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Services will take place at the family’s convenience.
