Joseph Hauer
JOSEPH MICHAEL HAUER, born September 30, 1967, died June 7, 2014 of a heart attack.
Joe leaves behind a loving wife, Teresa, and daughter, Angie who will miss him dearly. Other survivors include his loving parents, Linda and Mike Hauer of Villa Hills and loving sisters, Cindy and Caryn (Ken) DeMann. In addition, he leaves other relatives and friends whose love and respect he cherished.
Joe died as he lived—while doing for others to make their lives better. His generous spirit was enjoyed by many and repaid with genuine love for all he gave. Because he worked as an electronic fraud investigator , he became a computer expert and was always ready to help others when the need arose.
His willingness to help was his trademark and he did so with anyone in need.
Always with a warm smile, Joe made many friends who admired his easy-going manner. An avid UK basketball and Reds fan, he attended many games and never missed a telecast. There was so much more to Joe, his love of photography, traveling, and general love of life. At a recent family gathering, he said how lucky he felt to be at this stage in his life with his family, friends and interests.
The world was a better place with Joe here; but now he resides in the arms of the Eternal Father—just in time for Father’s Day. Sleep in peace, my son, your love and gentleness will never be forgotten. Visitation will be Thursday 11am-1pm at St. Joseph Church in Crescent Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1pm.
