Jonathan Miller
Jonathan J. Miller, 100, of Cincinnati formerly of Cleveland Heights, OH, and Clearwater, FL. He was a dedicated, much loved teacher of higher math for 30 years at Cleveland Heights High School and Cleveland State University. He also was an outstanding tennis and basketball player and a highly successful high school tennis coach. Many of his past students and players have commented on what a difference he made in their life. He was proud of never having a losing season with his Heights High Tennis team. He was also a Senior Olympic Champion in doubles tennis. Jonathan was an extremely gifted soloist who joyfully sang at his grandchildren’s weddings and countless church services. He leaves his much beloved and devoted wife of 76 years, Kathryn Couturier Miller, and loving daughter Kathy (John) Morley of Ryland Heights, KY, Grandchildren Clint (Dena) Morley, Melissa (Mike) Schwarzell and Erin (Chris) Warman, and great grandchildren Nolan, Evan and Jaiden Morley, Lila and Zach Schwarzell, C.J., Cody, and Wesley Warman. A funeral service will be held on Saturday January 3, 2015 at 11 am with reception to follow at Twin Towers, Wilson Chapel, 5343 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45224. Burial will take place at Berlin Township Cemetery, Berlin, Ohio 44610. Memorials may be made to: The Mennonite Central Committee, mcc.org, with global Christian social outreach.
