Johnie Adrian Sorrell

Johnie Adrian Sorrell, 73, of Elsmere, KY, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024, at Florence Park Care Center in Florence, KY. He was born on January 17, 1951, in Covington, KY, to the late Adrian and Dale Sorrell.

In addition to his parents, Johnie was preceded in death by his brothers, Keith and Danny Sorrell, and sister, Karen “Sissie” Sorrell.  He is survived by his loving sister Rose Croley (Linza)  of Elsmere, KY, niece Adrianne Belbot (Ben) and great-nephew Ethan Swett.

For nearly six years, Johnie found a second family at Florence Park Care Center, where he was loved and cared for by both the staff and residents. Their kindness and compassion provided him with a home filled with warmth and affection, and for that, his family will be forever grateful. Johnie was truly one of God’s special children, and his gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.

A private service will be held in Johnie’s honor.
