Till we meet again old friend

In interviewing for Texaco who does my interview no other than John he sees I was born in Keokuk Ia and instantly John knew I would know NASCAR people from that area and we hit it off instantly, such a great friend we even left the platform together to see races in Arizona,I’ve shot with him, when he said pull in trap he sounded like an eight foot giant, what a good friend. Till we meet again

Remembering John Lahm

John was my neighbor for 10 years many of spring and summer days we would be out doing yardwork and take breaks on his patio taking in a nice breeze. We would talk about his time in the Air Force and living in California. He would talk about his stepdaughter Tracy and her family often. He occasionally would talk about his loved wife Barbara, who had passed years earlier. John lived alone, but had a cat that kept him company my family would often take him over meals that we would share with him such as chili and cornbread stews and soups. Not only was John a great neighbor to have but also a great friend. My deepest condolences to Tracy, Tom, Delaney, and his niece Connie and her husband.
May you rest in peace, John
Till we see each other again, your friend Roy Piper
