John Kuchar

John A. Kuchar, Sr., 84, of Florence, KY passed away on October 8, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. Mr. Kuchar was a Navy Veteran and a retired ticket agent for TWA for 32 years. He last worked for the Kenton Co. Golf Course for the past 11 years. Mr. Kuchar was a member of the Senior Golf League with Kenton Co. Golf Course, member of the St. Henry Holy Name Society, and was an active member of St. Henry Church as the head usher, known as the 9:30 mass “Nickel Guy”. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida M. Kuchar and son, David A. Kuchar. He is survived by his daughter, Lynda Vogelpohl and son-in-law, Matt Vogelpohl of Florence, KY, son, John A. Kuchar, Jr. of Burlington, KY, brother, Maurice Kuchar of CT, brother-in-law , Edward F. Jardine of FL, and close family member, Rhonda Kuchar of Union, KY. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at St. Henry Church on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am at St. Henry Church. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Erlanger, KY with Military Honors. Memorial contributions are suggested to Children’s Hospital Research.
