John Keith Carlisle

John Keith Carlisle, 56, of Elsmere, KY passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Ft Thomas, KY to parents John and Vertie (Robinson) Carlisle on October 28, 1968. He was a graduate of London Christian Academy in London, KY. He was an order filler with Gates Corporation for twenty-one years. John was known for his sense of humor and fun-loving personality. He made people laugh and created a fun and loving atmosphere wherever he went. He was a prankster and an expert at being unpredictable with his ideas for messing with people. He would tell them it was “good for ya, builds character”. His love for family was second to none. Family was everything to John and he was faithful and fully devoted to them. He was a man who was respected for his ability to work through hard times and solve problems most people could not. He accepted challenges and faced issues head on. He never quit! His positive attitude motivated others to hold on through their cancer journey. John’s earthly journey may have ended on February 28, 2025, but the legacy he left to us will always remain. His love for his wife, his sons, his extended family, friends and church family along with his passion for life and his desire to make others feel happy, are the things that made him a man of inspiration and integrity. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Vertie Carlisle, brothers David Carlisle, Steve Carlisle, sister-in-law Linda Carlisle and brother-in-law Bud Dilworth. Survivors include his wife Venessa Lynn Carlisle (North), children Jeffrey, John Michael and James; brothers, Larry, Brian (Theresa), Kevin (Angela); sisters, Helen Dilworth and Linda Pratt; sister-in-law Kathy Carlisle and many loving nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 2pm at Mission Church of God located at 7851 Tanners Lane Florence, KY 41042.
