Joan Leifling

Joan “Nana” Leifling nee Apperson, 80, of Villa Hills, KY, formerly of Fort Mitchell, KY passed away Friday, November 4, 2011 at Madonna Manor, in Villa Hills, KY. Joan was a retired sales associate at J.C. Penny in the fine jewelry department. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Clarence “Peanut” Leifling; sister Edith Schafer; and brother Richard “Dick” Apperson. She is survived by her sons Ron Passo of Erlanger, KY; Steven Leifling (Kim) of Erlanger, KY; daughters Debbie Post (Gary) of Maineville, OH; Sandy Willen (John) of Villa Hills, KY; grandchild Kris Leifling of Covington, KY; 8 other grandchildren and 1 great grandson. A visitation will take place Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 11am until 1pm at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger, Ky with a service to follow at 1pm. Burial will take place following the service at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Ky.
