James “Jim” Criscillis, 63, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY. Jim was an avid UK and UC basketball and Cincinnati Reds fan. He faithfully attended Vineyard Christian Church in Florence, KY and had a passion for missionary work when his work scheduled allowed. He joined a mission team on a trip to The Redbird Mission in South Eastern Kentucky as well as, a trip to Romanian as part of another church group. He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Alma Criscillis, his brother Albert and brother-in-law William Lawhorn. Jim will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 38 years, Deborah Criscillis; his sisters Carol (Richard) Stephenson and Linda (Rick) Hayes; sister-in-law Ruth Lawhorn; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held at Linnemann Family Funeral Home and Event Center in Burlington, KY on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 10:00 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery in Florence, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation in memory of Jim, may be made to the Vineyard Christian Church: 7101 Pleasant Valley Road, Florence, KY 41042.
