Jerry W. Soard
Jerry W. Soard age 75 of Erlanger, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, January 8th, 2022. Jerry was born to the late Gillis and Josephine (nee, Vaughn) Soard on August 21, 1946 in Crescent Springs, Kentucky. Growing up, he loved to hunt, and play basketball and tennis. He worked in the construction field for many years. Jerry cherished his annual trips to Daytona Beach with his family and was a huge fan of the movie star, John Wayne – he even kept a photo of John on his wall at home! Above all else, Jerry loved his family more than anything.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Carole Soard, his children; Paul, Austin, and Haley Soard, his sisters; Dee Martin, Rita Lamar, Linda Bushong, and Anna Vanover, many nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews, and a group of lifelong friends. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
A visitation for Jerry will be held on Friday, January 14th at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, Kentucky from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. At 1:00 PM directly following the visitation, Jim Vanover will hold a service for Jerry. Immediately following the service, burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, Kentucky.
