Jerome Meyer

Jerome F. Meyer, 88, of Ft Wright, passed away on Monday April 25th, at his
residence. He was a veteran of World War II. He was awarded the Bronze Star
Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and other decorations. He was a founder of the
Dutchman’s Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed gardening on the family farm. He
was preceded in death by his wife, Maureen Meyer. Survivors include his sons,
James, (Sheila), Thomas, and David; his daughters, Diane Mains and Susan
Bogenschutz (David); and his sister, Evelyn Sewell. He also leaves behind six
grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Cremation will take place at Linnemann
Funeral Homes. There are no services. Memorials may be made to St. Elizabeth
Hospice, 483 South Loop Rd. Edgewood, KY 41017.
