Jean Urbach

Jean Urbach, 83, of Morning View, KY passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY.  She was born November 1, 1940 in Newport, AR. Jean was a member of St. Joseph Mission Church in Union, KY. She was a caring and generous person. Her family was always her top priority, and she loved her grandchildren dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Maxine Polston, her sister, Opal Janis Polston, and her granddaughter, Creesha Cox. Jean is survived by her loving husband, Harold E. Urbach Jr., her beloved children, Scott E. Urbach (Rhonda), and Shannon Egan (Tom), her cherished grandchildren: Zachary Urbach, Emma Edsall (Spencer), Seth Urbach, Cole Egan (Kim), Cody Marie Acosta (Andrew), Cooper Egan (Genesis), Clay Egan, and Chloe Egan, and 11 dear great grandchildren.

A Rosary service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 12:30pm until 1:00pm at St. Joseph Mission Church in Union, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held immediately following at 1:00pm at the Church. Jean will be laid to rest St. Joseph Mission Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Order of St. Francis of Assisi at 2760 Beaver Road, Union, KY 41091.
