Sorry to hear of Jan’s passing

Jan and Mike lived across the street from me on Drexel Ave. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful women. Prayers for the family!

My Aunt Jan

How do you find the words to describe how much you’ll miss someone, when you’ve never known a world without them?
You always had the largest heart and the warmest hugs. You welcomed me into your kitchen with an egg sandwich and a listening ear, always ready to hear about my latest adventure.
You taught me that magic is all around—that both a hum and a cry can be comforting & good when I’m feeling lost. You taught me that I should always run toward or away from something—and to trust myself to know which. That I will come across delicious things and dark things but all paths I take will join to lead me home- And that is what I will always know.
I will carry those lessons—and so many more—with me forever. I truly wouldn’t be who I am today without your love, your wisdom, and your unwavering presence.
I’ll miss you more than I can ever truly express, Aunt Jan.
Love always,
Katie Beth
