James King

James P. “Jim” King, 61, passed away at his Covington, KY residence, on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Jim served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He served with the Vincennes, IN Fire Department and was also an EMT. Jim was an avid hunter and member of Vincennes, IN Masonic Lodge #1. He is survived by his wife Christina Berkemeier King of Covington, KY, son James Michael King of Vincennes, IN, son Robert Joseph “B.J.” King (Amber) of Vincennes, IN, mother Anna M. King of Vincennes, IN, and sister Linda King of Vincennes, IN. Jim was preceded in death by his father George D. King and brother Harold “Pete” King. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 12 noon until 2pm at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger, KY. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 2pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Erlanger.
