James “Jim” Sterling Lidyard, Sr., 59, entered eternal life on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at his residence in Burlington, KY.  Son of the late Robert and Mildred Lidyard, Jim enjoyed spending time outdoors: hiking, golfing and camping. He loved spending time with family, bowling and cheering for OSU football.

He will be dearly missed by his children:

James “Jas” Lidyard Jr., Devinne Kelly, and Sara (Cameron) Fay; granddaughter Charlotte Fay;

brothers: Gene B. (Stephanie) Lidyard and David R. (Pamela) Lidyard

as well as several nieces, many family members and friends.

A memorial visitation and celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Linnemann Family Funeral Home and Event Center in Burlington, KY with Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 PM. Interment will take place at a later date at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Nashville, TN.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to James S. Lidyard, Sr. Memorial Education Fund care of: 5/3 Bank.
