James Edward Lemox
September 23, 1941 – October 28, 2025

James “Jim” Edward Lemox, age 84, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Born on September 23, 1941, to the late Edward Lemox and Martha (née Runge). He is survived by his son David (Cheryl) Lemox, daughter Connie Lemox, daughter Barbara Lemox, son Michael Lemox and daughter Amy Lemox, eleven grandchildren and 20 great- grandchildren, sister Judy (Phil) Thompson, several nieces and nephews and many friends and colleagues who will remember him for his creativity, generosity, and love of family.

Jim was a dedicated craftsman and entrepreneur. He owned and operated his own business, Fabri-Craft, where he specialized in sheet metal fabrication and built a respected reputation for his skill, work ethic, and integrity. Jim’s passion for custom cars and craftsmanship extended beyond his business—he was one of the founders and original organizers (Squires) of the Cincinnati Cavalcade of Customs Car Show, an event that became a beloved tradition for automotive enthusiasts across the region.

Jim spent many years coaching youth sports teams, including several years with the Erlanger Lions. He loved the outdoors and spending time on the river. He had a passion for observing steamboats.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Jim’s honor can be made to the Erlanger Lions Club, 5996 Belair Dr., Florence, KY 41042.
