James “Jim” Deters

James “Jim” Deters, 93 of Taylor Mill, passed away on February 23, 2025. Jim was a proud graduate of Covington Latin School and Villa Madonna College. Jim possessed a sharp intellect and a deep appreciation for local history. He spent his career building homes throughout Northern Kentucky. Beyond his professional achievements, Jim found his greatest joy at his beloved farm, surrounded by the land he loved and the simple pleasures of nature.

Jim was preceded by his parents: Bud and Cedora Deters, brother Jerry Deters and sister: Joan Maus. He is survived by his sister: Kathy Lonneman, brother: Charles Deters and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Erlanger from 6pm to 8pm. Catholic prayers will immediately follow at 8pm.  Online condolences can be left at www.LinnemannFuneralHomes.com.
