James Holmes

Dr. James G. Holmes, 84, of Ft. Mitchell, KY passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 5, 2013. Dr. Holmes was a longtime dentist in Northern Kentucky, as well as, longtime member of Northern Kentucky Dental Society. He attended Blessed Sacrament Church and was a current member of Immaculate Heart of Mary. He performed dental work for the children at the Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home and the Benedictine sisters, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Dr. Holmes attended St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Xavier University and the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry. James is survived by his loving wife, Jayne Holmes; son, James S. Holmes; daughters, Cindy L. Rusconi and Sandra J.Gabriel; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and sister, Marilyn Neumann of Cincinnati, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anne Holmes; and sister, Betty Monson. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, 2013 from 11 AM-1 PM with service at 1 PM, both at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, KY with burial to follow at Highland Cemetery in Ft.
