James Davis

James W. Davis, age 71, entered in to eternal rest with his Lord and Savior, at his Hebron residence on Wednesday September 10th, 2014. He retired from Suburban Propane and went to work with his son as Vice President at Environmental Risk Management, Inc. James was a veteran of the United States Army. He will be remembered for his love of his family and an uncompromising work ethic. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Linda Davis of Hebron; a son Jim Davis (Jamie) of Hebron; 2 brothers Johnny Davis (Suetta) and Bobby Davis of Nicholasville, KY. James was Papaw to Taylor and Lindsey Davis. Visitation will be Sunday September 14th from 3-6pm at Hebron Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held Monday September 15th, 11am, at the church. Graveside service and burial will follow at 2:30pm at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Nicholasville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice or Hebron Baptist Church.
