James Craven

James E. Craven Jr.73, of Florence, died Monday April 18, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Edgewood, Kentucky.
He was a retired excursion river boat captain for over 25 years and served in the Air National Guard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Lee Craven, beloved father of sons James Craven lll of Shepherdsville, Ky and Ted Schwartz of Grants Lick, Ky and daughters Kimberly Grau and Cindy Thurman of Crestwood, Ky , Karen Gasser of Shepherdsville and Kelly Love of Louisville, Ky devoted grandfather to 12 grandchildren, loyal brother to sisters Patricia Wood of Madison, Miss., Delores Mayer of Atwater, Oh, and Theresa Riggs of Ekron, Ky. He is now an angel watching over his family.
The body is being cremated. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
