Jacqueline Hope Jones

Jacqueline Hope Jones, 94, passed away on December 28, 2025, at her home surrounded by love and family. For 69 years, she was the devoted wife of Don, her high school sweetheart and his ‘secret weapon’ as he ascended in business. Charming, funny, always beautifully dressed, Jackie was the perfect hostess, entertaining business associates, friends and family with style.

Jackie was also an accomplished golfer; she upholstered and sewed like a professional, she danced, she crocheted, she knitted and quilted. She drove her Cadillac until she was 90. She was happiest cooking and spoiling her family, whom she absolutely cherished. She was the adored and adorable “NANU” to her eight grandchildren. In her later years Jackie lived for each family visit, FaceTime, phone call and card from her loved ones. Time spent together was her greatest joy.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Langford; her sons, Donald “Steve” (Pier) Jones Jr. and Kenneth (Christine) Jones; her seven grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lucille Deal; her husband, Donald Jones, and her grandson, Stephen Jones, who surely greeted her in heaven with a huge smile and arms wide open.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington, KY, with a reception to follow. Jackie will be laid to rest privately at Burlington Cemetery.
