JACK THOMPSON
Jack Thompson, 79, of Burlington, KY passed away peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2016 surrounded by his family. Jack was born to the late John William Stanley Thompson and Allie Louise (nee: Brumback). He was retired from Cincinnati Gas and Electric. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Charlotte Thompson (nee: Hunt) and their children, Rick (Felecia) Thompson, Don Thompson, Cindy House (nee: Thompson), Shawn Thompson, sisters, Margie Flowers, Della Stephens and brother, Luke Thompson. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Lee Thompson in 2007. Visitation will be Friday, December 2, 2016 from 11am to 12pm with funeral services to follow at 12pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Burlington, KY. Burial will be at Burlington Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Assoc.

I always called him Jack Jack. I worked with Jack at Walmart. He was a very sweet person to be around. I loved when he came in to work. He reminded me of my father who had also passed on. I loved seeing his smiling face everyday. He was such an awesome person to be around. I am very sorry for your loss Charlotte.
