Jack L Tucker
Jack L. Tucker, age 95 of Burlington, passed away February 9, 2021. Jack proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed watching the Reds and UK. He was member of Burlington Baptist Church for over 60 years. He was a man of many talents, who loved to build and farm.
Jack is survived by his wife of 71 years: Lillian Tucker, children: Gary Tucker, Donald (Dianna) Tucker, David (Mary) Tucker, 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren with one on the way, and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Services will be held privately by the family. Jack will be laid to rest at Burlington Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, masks are required by all guests at the funeral home and cemetery. Jack was a good man, talented, skilled, devoted to family, and a good conversationalist. I always enjoyed visiting with Jack and Lil and hearing about what was going on in their lives.
My condolences to his family. His children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren will extend his memory on this earth for generations to come.
